Stinkfoot Orchestra

live at the Lodgeroom, Los Angeles

The most profound, uplifting, invigorating, imaginative, and hilarious performance you’ve never seen has just made its way through Los Angeles. On the evening of Saturday, July 1st, The Stinkfoot Orchestra, a rocking, 14-piece combo, truly captured the spirit of the most prolific musical artist of all time. Dedicated to recreating the magnificent musical magic of Frank Zappa, the Stinkfoot Orchestra meticulously played hours of Zappa's most iconic and mesmerizing discography. Although Zappa's musical career spans over three decades, The Stinkfoot Orchestra took the listener back in time every year. Additionally, a special guest appearance by Ike Willis brought back the crowd to the good old days of Joe's Garage. Alongside the most-skilled musicians in Los Angeles, the entire audience was screaming every lyric of every song. It would suffice to say that the energy in the room grew exponentially with each number.

Commencing in classic Frank Zappa fashion, The Stinkfoot Orchestra introduced their members with, "Heavy Duty Judy," a classic instrumental piece. Narrated by Nick Chargon (Keyboards), Chargon was able to deliver with complete authenticity, concern, and humor, all of Frank Zappa's commentary and observations throughout the performance. However, The Orchestra inevitably exploded with delight as Chargon would have to join forces with Napoleon Murphy Brock himself. With as much energy as a human being could employ, Napoleon carried the screams and applause of the crowd over the gaps between songs and layed everything down perfectly. With hits like, "Advance Romance," "Peaches en Regalia," "Penguin in Bondage," "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow," "Inca Roads," and "San Ber'dino," The StinkFoot Orchestra showed the world what they could do.
